Notes

Funny Pages on pages 65-72 on newsprint, which has the gutters and margins of all the comics a dull olive color. (The strips themselves are normal black and white inside the panels.) A Bic Lighter full-page ad on page 38, titled "The Movie Buff's Guide to Flicking Your Bic." has three cartoons by Joseph Farris, Mischa Richter, and Bernard Schoenbaum. A full page painted ad for Joker cigarette papers on page 54 ("The 'Finest' Papers in the Kingdom") is done in same style as Maxfield Parrish painted ads from the early 20th century.
