Synopsis

After nine months, Nicky's beauty parlour is at last beginning to pay its way and she looks forward to being able to pay back her brother the money he lent her. She also falls in love with a charming actor and, despite warnings from her family and friends, she agrees to marry him. However, soon after the wedding she learns her husband is irresponsible with money and incapable of being faithful.
