Continuity

Continuity was Neal Adams' publishing arm. Adams had already spent the 1970s as one of the most influential artists in American comics and, with Continuity Associates, as the proprietor of a commercial art studio that trained a great many of the people who drew the 1980s.

The comics line began in 1984 and ran on his own creations — Ms. Mystic, Megalith, CyberRad, Armor — drawn and coloured with a heavy, airbrushed technique that looked like nothing else on the shelf. Bucky O'Hare, created with Larry Hama, went on to a cartoon and a video game better remembered than the comic.

Scheduling was the company's persistent problem: titles appeared irregularly and sometimes years apart, and it stopped publishing in the mid-1990s.
