Synopsis
The Marshall is aroused by the sound of gunfire, which indicated to him a bank robbery was in progress, but, in the process, is shot dead by the robbers. Young Jack is sent to live with his grandmother, but soon disappears after his 18th birthday. Years later, Jack returns, with warrant in hand, to arrest the man who killed his father years ago.

Editing credit per an interview in SQUA TRONT #11, which states "John Severin and [Colin] Dawkins ... in 1954, ... were the uncredited co-editors of Two-Fisted Tales #36-39".
