Synopsis
Usagi saves the life of the Komori ninja Kazehime during a storm and she places herself in his debt. Later, Usagi agrees to help Yamaguchi and other swordsmen in guarding Merchant Wada, but en route Usagi learns Wada is an enemy of Lord Hikiji. Suddenly, the Komori attack the party and nearly all are killed; the last Komori is Kazehime who offers to spare Usagi, but Usagi refuses to abandon Wada. Kazehime is about to kill Usagi but hesitates, enabling Yamaguchi to strike her down.
