Synopsis

Because of her beauty, all the men were at her feet except Alan, who was the only person who didn't melt when she fluttered her eyelashes. That's why she could relax and be herself with him. But when Peter came into their lives, Polly realized that because everyone admired him, he was alone and they would understand each other. She set out to catch him despite the fact that Margaret loved him. Polly spends all her time with Peter over the next few weeks, but he warns her that it won't last. When Polly's face is disfigured in a car accident, Peter doesn't come back to see her.
