Synopsis

Joan and David had met on holiday at Seacliffe when David accidentally ruined her sand castle. Her helped her build a better one, but after they go for a swim they return to discover that the castle has been washed away. David tells her that nothing stays the same. Before they leave, they make a pact to return to the same spot one year from that date. Joan has returned but as the evening falls and David has not appeared, she thinks there is no point in waiting. Then as she leaves she sees him, late because his car had a puncture.
