Synopsis

Ruth agrees to hold a package for her boyfriend Burt, only to discover it contains loot from a payroll robbery. Burt is arrested (and Ruth learns he’s married). Ruth falls in love with Jim but Burt escapes and demands the cash, which she’s already mailed to the police. Jim, a detective, has a shoot-out with Burt. Ruth is wounded in the exchange, but recovers and will wed Jim.
