Synopsis

Alice and Danny are in love, but she wants a career as a singer first. She gets her big break but her vocal chords can’t take the strain: Alice will never sing again. Danny hires Carla as his new singer, and Alice takes charge of her training, living vicariously through Carla’s success. Danny and Carla get engaged, but Carla decides her career is more important, so Alice and Danny finally wed.
