Synopsis
General Sunderland hires Jason Woodrue to examine Swamp Thing and determine how Alec Holland became the monster, but Woodrue discovers that Swamp Thing only thinks that he was Alec Holland. When Sunderland fires Woodrue, the scientist allows Swamp Thing to take revenge on Sunderland for the both of them.

Features a new afterword from Bissette accompanied by a wealth of behind-the-scenes material.
This original printing was found to have quality issues with the spine, the binding was breaking down and pages were separating from the spine. DC released a new edition to address the binding issue. The new edition has a new ISBN and barcode.
