Synopsis

Helen agrees to do extra typing to earn money for her upcoming marriage to Bob, but doesn’t tell him about it. The next day, her name is listed as one of those caught in a gambling club raid. Bob and Helen’s parents are shocked, despite her denials. Helen’s mother Nell was actually involved but gave the police Helen’s name. Helen quits her job and moves away due to the scandal. She goes to work for J.D., who takes her to a hotel and forces his way into her room. J.D. is caught by the house detective and Helen meets Bob, who now knows she was unjustly accused earlier. They are reunited.
