Synopsis

Dorothy’s late father was a pitcher for the Mason City Orioles; she now works for the team and dates new star Lefty, to the dismay of her co-worker Dick. Lefty drinks and breaks curfew, and this affects his performance. On a date with Dorothy, Lefty causes an accident and leaves her behind, claiming he needs urgent medical attention. Dick rescues Dorothy and they fall in love. Lefty’s bad habits end his baseball career.
