Synopsis

With forty-four days left to go, McNeill counts down his last days in Vietnam. He rejoins his squad after his time in Bangkok, getting into a firefight with a sniper. Later on his group gets into an ambush while staying at a Popular Forces bunker, leading him to receive a bravery citation in the aftermath. Discovering that he has just six days to go, he tries to find a way to get a rear assignment rather than his assigned command post in the bush.
