Synopsis
May grows up in poverty and works in a factory to support her parents and brother. She and co-worker Jerry fall in love, but her father says they can’t survive without her salary. May’s mother tells her to find her happiness with Jerry, and her brother says he’s gotten a job to help out. May is reunited with Jerry, who admits his father owns the factory where they work: Jerry was just learning the job from the ground up.
