An ad from The Buyer's Guide for Comic Fandom #2 (April(?) 1971) states that:

The price for this magazine would be $1.00 (it was not stated in the magazine itself). It was "fully authorized by William Gaines" and was limited to a print-run of 500. It was "finely scanned directly from the original books to insure accurate reproduction" and was produced on "50-lb offset stock". The cover was a reproduction of a portion of the cover of Weird Science Fantasy #23.
