When Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Green Arrow, and Wonder Woman inexplicably turn to crime, their teen-aged sidekicks decide that it is up to them to stop their crazed mentors. After capturing four of the rampaging heroes, the teens bring them to the Justice League's mountain headquarters. Inside they are confronted by an alien energy-being named the Antithesis. The creature has warped the minds of the adult heroes in order to feed on the energies released when they commit criminal deeds. The Antithesis fades away when Green Arrow, the last of the enthralled adults, is finally defeated. Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl form the Teen Titans, while Speedy decides to remain a part-time member.
