Synopsis
Popeye and Sir Pomeroy go on an expedition in search of the stone idol of Popeycatapetl and the treasure that lies beneath it. What they come to realize is that the idol looks just like Popeye, and because of this they're unable to hire any of the locals, who fear Popeye for that reason. They hire Spider and his men instead, not realizing that the criminal Spider intends to sell Popeye and Sir Pomeroy into slavery. Sold at auction to Madame Simone LeGraw, they soon learn that she will free them only if they cut her in on a percentage of the treasure they seek.
